After two years of motions and legal wrangling, OverStockJeweler.com has finally settled the David and Goliath lawsuit that was brought on by David Yurman, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Gucci and Bulgari (see also Sheila Kurtz).

Originally filed in 2007 at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan by Yurman Studio Inc., the lawsuit against OverStockJeweler.com was expanded to include Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, and Gucci. As a result of this lengthy litigation, OverStockJeweler.com, along with its owner, Elena Castaneda, agreed to no longer use the trademark names of David Yurman, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, and ...
