Sharon Jacobs will never forget the gut-wrenching day she left her new baby in child care for the first time. "At that point, she couldn't even hold her head up," says Jacobs. "I saw all these kids crawling on the floor and I thought, Oh, God, will somebody step on her? After we left, I didn't hear a word my husband was saying. I just wanted to rush back and pick up my baby."
