Companhia de Saneamento Basico do Estado de Sao Paulo - SABESP (NYSE: SBS; Bovespa: SBSP3), one of the world's largest water and sewage service providers in terms of number of customers, announces that the Sao Paulo State Sanitation and Energy Regulatory Agency (ARSESP), approved the tariff readjustment index of 4.43% to be applied to water and sewage tariffs as of September 11, 2009.
