A subsidiary company of Pacific Seafood Group, a family-owned seafood company based in Portland, Ore., recently acquired Salmolux, Inc., a hot and cold smoked seafood and gourmet food processing company based in the Pacific Northwest.
In just two decades, Salmolux grew from a start-up gourmet seafood supplier to an international business. The company produces millions of pounds of salmon annually, utilizing a proprietary smoking process. Its products are based on traditional European methods in combination with fresh seafood of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.
