Man, 26, allegedly raped 12-year-old girl

WESTBORO - A 26-year-old Chelsea man was arraigned on child rape charges yesterday after police said he enticed a 12-year-old Northboro girl to have sex with him.

According to a police report, Angel Ortiz formed a relationship with the girl through MySpace. They had been text messaging each other for a couple weeks before July 31, when Mr. Ortiz, using a GPS, allegedly drove 40 minutes to Northboro to meet the girl. The girl had given him a Northboro address to drive to, according to police.
