LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 1998--Cruising took on a new dimension Tuesday as Grand Princess, the biggest, most expensive cruise ship ever built, set sail on her maiden voyage from Istanbul, Turkey.
The 109,000-ton, $450 million superliner is dramatically different from any other ship afloat, with its unparalleled choice in dining, entertainment and accommodations.
