With long-term planning being the key to the future, members of the Planning Board have voted 9-0 to approve a revised master plan for Jackson.

A master plan is the series of documents, enacted by ordinance, that guides the development of the municipality. The Township Council will now have the responsibility to put ordinances into place to make the master plan work. The Planning Board gave its stamp of approval to the revised master plan at its Aug. 3 meeting.
