Gazprom asks govt for new fields after Chayanda reserves turn out lower than expected
MOSCOW. Aug 21 (Interfax) - Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) has lowered its forecast for gas production at the Chayanda oil and gas condensate field and asked the government to provide new fields from a list of federal subsurface resources so it can fill a gas pipeline running to Vladivostok, the company's press service said in a statement.
Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller announced that the company had lowered the forecast based on new data at a meeting in Mirny on Friday.
