Brisbane, Aug 20 (ANTARA): Indonesian and Australian air transport officials began their two-day meeting here on Thursday to discuss aviation safety services and satellite-based air traffic management. Aviation safety services were among operational issues to be discussed at the meeting, the operations and technical director of state airport operator Angkasa Pura I, Risman Nuryadin, said prior to the meeting. "The other issue which is high on the agenda of the meeting will be how to implement a new satellite-based CNS ATM (communication, navigation, surveillance/air traffic management) system in stages," he said.
