University of Wisconsin fifth-year senior defensive tackle Jeff Stehle has been here before, on the launch pad, waiting to take off.
Stehle is a guy coaches have talked about frequently the past couple of years. He always seems on the verge of doing big things on the field.
His engines are firing, the ground rumbles and the crowd gathers in anticipation. Then something happens and the launch is scrapped.
"Being a fifth-year senior, I've been through a lot," Stehle said. "It's not like I'm young."
Coaches thought Stehle would become a regular part of the playing rotation ...
