Mr. Dodge, 60, of Charlotte, NC, was called to our Heavenly Father Saturday after a long and valiant struggle
with chronic illness. He was born in Syracuse, NY, in 1948, son of the late Harry M. Dodge Sr. and RoseMary V. Dodge. He grew up mostly on the West Side of Syracuse and later in Plainville, NY.
A graduate of Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY, Mr. Dodge enlisted in the Marine Corps and fought for three tours in Vietnam and Okinawa, serving as a special operator with the elite third force Reconnaissance Company and other units.
