THE chauffeur service at the centre of a Government cronyism row has had a lucrative arrangement as the exclusive transport provider for State figures in London since the 1980s, it has emerged.

Cartel Limousines - owned by Terry Gallagher, son of the late Fianna Fail Mayo TD Denis Gallagher - has a guaranteed business as provider of luxury transport for Irish politicians and diplomats while they are working in London.
