A CHARITY which helps asthma sufferers has accused health officials of ignoring its pleas for medical advice on swine flu.
Asthma UK Scotland has been flooded with calls from anxious parents asking if Tamiflu and the H1N1 vaccination are safe for children with the condition It follows concerns raised by experts that people with asthma are more susceptible to side effects from both drugs.
The Scottish Executive, however, has failed to make contact with the charity to pass on the latest medical advice.
