Article: China approves first Taiwan-bound investment case.

Taipei, August 6, 2009 (CENS) -- Mainland China's Ministry of Commerce recently approved the publicly held Fujian Newland Computer Co., Ltd. to acquire Digit Professional Asia Ltd., making it the first China's Taiwan-bound investment case involving capital directly channeled from the mainland.

Although seven of the mainland's airlines have agreed to opened branches in Taiwan since Taiwan government put a regulation governing the mainland's investment in Taiwan into effect this June, none of them capitalize their Taiwan shops with money directly from the mainland.
