Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) Chairman H S Brar said today that the board had got overwhelming response as eight firms have purchased Request for Qualification (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
They are NTPC, Reliance Power, L&T Power, Welspun Urja India, Essar Power, Dalmia Cement (Bharat), GMR Energy and Adani Power.
Due to global recession only one company, Lanco Infratech, participated in the bidding earlier but as per guidelines of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC), the Letter of Intent (LoI) could not be issued to ...
