Maynilad Water Services, Inc. s capital expenditure to upgrade water services in the west zone has more than doubled under the consortium of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC) and DMCI Holdings Inc.
But Maynilad president Rogelio L. Singson said the water concessionaire is ready to spend more if its 15-year concession agreement will be extended.
In a statement, Maynilad estimated its capital expenditure at P20 billion to replace old pipes, upgrade water facilities and expand distribution network.
