TOKYO, Aug 25 Asia Pulse - A new business model is taking shape in Japan that provides a continued stream of revenue by offering a security service that blocks access to the data on notebook personal computers if they are lost or stolen.
What sets these new services apart is their ability to erase or otherwise make the data unreadable without the need for an Internet connection. This means that immediate action can be taken to lock down the data on the lost computer.
