MALAYSIA'S UNITED PLANTATIONS REPORTS 18.1% FALL IN Q2 NET PROFIT
KUALA LUMPUR - United Plantations Bhd (KLSE:2089), a major Malaysian palm oil producer, Monday reported an 18.1 per cent slide in second quarter net profit to RM65.01 million (US$18.5 million) following a drop in crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK) output as well as depressed margins of its refinery divisions.
