Maponics, which counts Google, Trulia, infoUSA, Yellow Book USA and Citysearch among its map data clients, unveiled an enhancement to its neighborhood boundaries database, which it called the industry's first Neighborhood Classification Schema.
With it, all companies using Maponics Neighborhood Boundaries for interactive search and mapping, or internal analytics, will have access to important neighborhood zoning and social use information, allowing them to selectively filter for neighborhoods with profiles that best match searcher intentions.
