FDA DEHP guidance comment period ends; anti voices grow

Listen and you may hear companies producing medical products made of vinyl and using the plasticizer di-(2-Ethylhexyl)phthalates otherwise known simply as DEHP holding their collective breath.
This past Friday, the FDA closed its comment period on its draft guidance concerning the presence of this chemical in medical devices, thus beginning the process of sorting through the comments and preparing any changes.
