The folks behind the remainder of the Central New York furniture chain Goldberg's are informing customers that the end of the nearly 100-year-old business is imminent.
In a mailing received by some customers on Monday, Goldberg's issued an invitation to a "final sale" running today through Sept. 1 before, the letter says, "we announce our going-out-of-business sale."
Calls to executives at the remaining Goldberg's furniture store, in North Syracuse, were not immediately returned on Tuesday.
The letter to customers is an invitation to receive special discounts at the sale that begins today. The shoppers ...
