Introduction

Two major issues frame youth risk behaviors. First, the actual risk behaviors performed by the youth commonly identified through youth risk behaviors surveys and second, attitudes and perceptions of parents regarding youth behavior that can predispose, enable, or reinforce children's risk behaviors.
