Trading on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE ) closed on a higher note Tuesday, as market capitalization hit 5.26 trillion naira, a figure higher than what obtained the previous day (Monday) when it closed at 5.14 trillion naira, just as the All Share-Index also increased from 22,460.08 points recorded the previous day to 22,984.14 points.

Investors, however, placed 2.31 billion naira on 312.6 million shares in 5,606 deals, in contrast with the sum of 3.10 billion naira placed on 624.28 million shares in 6,324 deals on Monday.
