CANCER patients have spoken of their fears over the future of 11 nurses who provide vital clinical and emotional support during their illness.
It was yesterday unclear whether the 11 specialist nurses, who were funded by the now defunct charity Cancer Care Cymru, will still be in post next year.
The South East Wales Cancer Network has agreed to fund the nurses, who work with patients across South Wales, until December.
