Introduction

Many companies including multinational companies have shown interest in becoming a distributor of subsidized oil fuels (BBM). They proposed to take part in a tender planned by the government for the right to distribute subsidized oil fuels for 2010.

The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulator BPH Migas, however, decided later not to hold tender. Instead the agency decided to name distributors through selection and direct appointment. Distribution of subsidized oil fuels will be made by regions by companies, which are declared winners in selection in certain regions.
