Ten distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from Syria arrived on Friday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) following their repatriation through the help of local businessmen.Vice President Manuel “Noli” De Castro made the announcement even as he extolled the “kindness and selflessness” of the businessmen who participated in the effort to bring home the distressed OFWs by shouldering their airfares.Through their generous and prompt response, the Vice President said the unfortunate workers can now go home to their families."With the support of the business sector, 10 of our troubled countrymen in Damascus can now join their families ...
