Amidst stiff competition, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has won a turnkey contract for setting up an energy efficient and environment friendly Gas Turbine-based Captive Power Plant in Assam.

Reposing confidence in BHEL's capabilities, Oil India Limited (OIL) has placed an order worth around Rs.1,900 Million, for a 20 MW Gas Turbine-based captive power plant. The project will be set up by the company on Lumpsum Turnkey (LSTK) basis at Duliajan in Assam.
