In a leading move, ArcelorMitttal USA Inc. has increased base prices on carbon steel sheet products by $60 per ton, effective immediately with all new orders scheduled for shipment.Market sources told AMM that the increase, the fourth sheet price hike announced this year, essentially will take effect for November orders as Chicago-based ArcelorMittal USA has told customers it is sold out for October.If fully absorbed by the market, the increase would lift ArcelorMittal USA's hot-rolled sheet base price to $600 per ton ($30 per hundredweight), cold-rolled sheet to $700 per ton ($35 per cwt) and hot-dip galvanized sheet to $720 per ton ($36 per ...
