Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority broke ground for an $8.5 million station on East 55th Street to replace a facility built in 1955.
To be completed in fall 2011, the new station will continue to serve the Green and Red light-rail lines, Red heavy-rail line and two bus routes.
