A confident Kelly Clarkson drew her devoted fans to their feet from the first note Thursday night at the state fair's Mohegan Sun Grandstand.
The pop star started with a boiling "All I Ever Wanted." Dramatic wham.
She went right into a soaring "Miss Independent." Solid bam.
From there the Texas native delivered a passionate "I Do Not Hook Up." Powerful zam.
Clarkson finally drew a deep breath and became chatty and personable.
