The World Bank's International Finance Corporation (IFC) reported it is considering an investment in Argentine primary aluminum producer Aluar to finance the company's expansion program.
The program contemplates increasing capacity at Aluar's main plant at Puerto Madryn in Chubut province by 45,000t/y to 455,000t/y in 2011, IFC reported on its website.
The investment program would provide good employment opportunities in the region and generate additional exports worth up to US$130mn/y above ...
