Allianz Malaysia Bhd group's (AMB) gross written premium (GWP) for the first six months of 2009 rose by 19 per cent to RM994.3 million from RM835.1 million in the same period last year.
Pre-tax profit rose by 25 per cent to RM50 million over the same period in 2008.
In a statement, chief executive officer (CEO), Alexander Ankel, said the company was satisfied with the results and believed they could create sustainable value for its shareholders.
