HEBRON, Ky., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pomeroy IT Solutions , a technology services and solutions provider, today announced that it has been awarded a five year contract to provide help desk and desk side support services to PPL, a global energy company headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, that controls or owns more than 12,000 megawatts of generating capacity in the United States, sells energy in key U.S. markets, and delivers electricity to approximately 4 million customers in Pennsylvania and the United Kingdom. This new IT services contract has an estimated value of $18 Million over the initial five year term.
