THE ANC is demanding that a secret city forensic investigation into alleged misconduct by its "Copperheads" be tabled before the council's committee on safety and security for scru-tiny.
It says it has been shocked to learn that former Copperheads boss and councillor Pieter Van Dalen had fired a private weapon during operations with the unit.
The ANC's Werner Schwella said the city needed to come clean on allegations against Van Dalen, now a DA MP, that he had overstated his mileage claims when using his private vehicle for operations with the force.
