The Marvel superheroes have saved the world from galactic destroyers, evil mutant armies and Dr. Doom.
But they couldn't fight off the Big Mouse.
On Monday, The Walt Disney Company announced a $4 billion deal to acquire Marvel Entertainment, making the comic book company that's home to Spider-Man, the X-Men and Captain America corporate cousins of Tinker Bell.
