Whether a signature crest or pattern, iconic properties put their stamp on tableware.
As The Pierre prepared to reopen recently after a US$100 million renovation, there was a decision to be made about what tableware to use in the hotel's new bar/lounge and restaurant.
"We had a lot of china, silver and glassware in the hotel," says Jeffrey Mihalakis, food and beverage director.
