The major plant fire seen by thousands on TV last Monday could have knocked Diversified Chemical Technologies out of business.
Instead, the Detroit-based supplier of packaging adhesives, coatings and recycled polymeric materials didn't lose a customer.
Chairman and CEO George Hill, President Arnold Joseff and the Diversified team worked a disaster recovery plan that helped it notify customers within hours of the Aug. 24 blaze and find temporary production facilities in Ferndale.
