Tenet Healthcare Corp., Dallas, said it hired Tyler Murphy as its vice president and treasurer. Murphy, 39, most recently worked for rehabilitation provider HealthSouth Corp., Birmingham, Ala., where he was senior vice president of treasury, risk management and investor relations. Murphy will report to Tenet CFO Biggs Porter. "Tyler brings a wealth of financial and healthcare industry experience to Tenet, Porter said in a news release. Before his stint at HealthSouth, Murphy worked in banking and financial services. Gustavo Valdespino was named president and CEO of Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., effective Sept. 1. ...
