U. S. court sentences designer for Paris Hilton and Oprah Winfrey on 14 counts of rape &assault
ANAND Jon, the designer from Kerala who dressed Paris Hilton, Oprah Winfrey and Bruce Springsteen, was on Monday sentenced to spend the next 59 years in a US jail.
Los Angeles Superior Court judge David Wesley's sentence was based on the jury's guilty verdict against the 35- year- old designer on 14 of the 16 counts of sexual assault that had been brought against him in court.
The jury had delivered its verdict in the designer's case on November 13 last year.
