Reliance Globalcom has won the race to launch a direct fibre optic link between India and China.
In laying a cable through an area known as the Nathula Pass and interconnecting that with the network of China Telecom at the border between the two countries, Reliance can claim a first.
But its Indian counterparts won t be left behind for long.
