AIR Uganda has unveiled a new aircraft. The CRJ-200 has capacity to accommodate 50 passengers. The aircraft will strengthen the airline s current fleet. It also marked the start of a long-term plan to replace the MD87s, according to Hugh Fraser, the chief executive officer.

He said with the new plane, the firm will re-introduce the morning flights to Nairobi. With the arrival of the CRJ-200, Air Uganda will be operating both the CRJs and MD87s.
