An exhibit on display through Oct. 30 at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts presents a shining example of the rags-to-riches American immigrant dream while celebrating one of Suffolk's most beloved adopted sons.
"Obici: The Immigrant Experience" opened during a private preview Aug. 21 for Suffolk dignitaries, members of Suffolk Sister Cities Inc. and visitors from Oderzo , Italy, Suffolk's sister city and birthplace of Amedeo Obici , subject of the exhibit.
