The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Central Bank, First Bank and Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Company for a programme that will help youths in the Niger Delta acquire skills in integrated agricultural business.
The four establishments according to a statement from the spokesman of the company, Mr Tony Okonedo, are teaming up in a partnership that will see 100 youths train at Songhai Delta Agricultural Centre, Amukpe, Delta State, in fisheries, crop production, livestock husbandry, agro-processing and marketing.
