A few days back, the Benue State legislature trod its familiar path again, when it raised the heart-beat of the people by unanimously passing a resolution, permitting the state Governor, Gabriel Suswam to source for bonds and local loans to the tune of over N20 billion for financing of development projects.
Speaker Terseer Tsumba, who read the letter from the governor to the Assembly on the matter also requested for House resolutions empowering him to borrow the huge sum from various commercial banks.
