The International Finance Corp. and a group of banks have put together a $153 million loan package to help Pan American Energy develop oil and gas resources in Argentina, the IFC said Wednesday in a statement.
IFC, part of the World Bank, will provide $50 million while a syndicate of banks will provide the remaining $103 million, it said. Banks include BNP Paribas, Banco Itau BBA, Banco do Brasil, Calyon, Cordiant Capital, Corporacion Interamericana para el Financiamiento de Infraestructura, and Korea Development Bank.
