SALEM - Owners of bars and other video gambling emporiums squared off Tuesday against public officials and other advocates for government services over how to divide shrinking lottery revenues.
The debate has become familiar to the Oregon Lottery Commission, which has set compensation rates for bars, taverns and other lottery retailers since they jointly entered the video gambling business in 1992.
