The Guernsey Tapestry Completed in 1998 after two years of stitching, the tapestry was the island's Millennium Project involving the entire community - one tapestry panel for each of the 10 parishes. Each panel bears the crest of the parish that stitched it. The tapestry was taken to schools, hospitals and residential homes so that everyone on the island could add their stitch to this moving portrayal of 1,000 years of local history.
