BEFORE he arrived, the screens at either side of the stage in the Brian Boru Hall were showing clips from his prime. Larger than life, young and full of himself -- boxing, speechifying.
The video showed his charity work, his compassion and his controversies. And his bragging about his own beauty. Every now and then a profile shot of the young Ali lit up the screen -- and the young Ali was indeed beautiful.
