Denver-area land sales have been slow, but a couple of larger properties sold recently.
Pedersen Development Co. LLC of Boulder, headed by Scott Pedersen, bought a lot in the Thompson Subdivision of Boulder County from Jimmie Thompson for $3.1 million, according to county real estate records.
Pedersen Development projects include the 66-unit Centennial Pavilion Lofts in Louisville. In August, the company sold a lot at 28th Street and Valmont Road in Boulder to the Walgreen Co. (NYSE: WAG) for roughly $4 million. Walgreen plans to build a 14,800-square-foot drugstore on the site, which is scheduled to open in spring 2010.
