nPhase, a joint venture between Verizon Wireless and Qualcomm, has announced a series of ongoing pilot Smart Grid programs with ABB Inc.
According to a press release, nPhase will be providing real-time wireless network connectivity and services to ABB utility customers along with technology from ABB which specializes in power and automation technologies. Program participants are expected to benefit from enhanced performance with reduction in environmental impact.
